Viewing the properties and progress of a task in progress

You can view additional information about the selected task in progress, such as the last time the task was modified, the commands being run by the task, and the names of the target computers for the task. You can also see details of the task's progress on individual computers.

To view the properties of a task in progress

From the left-hand pane, expand Tasks and choose In Progress.
From the right-hand pane, right-click the task and from the menu, choose Properties.
Details of the task are displayed.
Click OK.

To view a selected in progress task's details, you can also choose in the toolbar.

To view the progress of a task in progress

From the left-hand pane, expand Tasks and choose In Progress.
From the right-hand pane, right-click the task and from the menu, choose Properties.
Choose the Target Progress tab.
Details of the individual computer updates are displayed. Select a target computer name on the progress list and click the Details button.
The Target Details show the task's description, details, and status for the selected computer. If any part of the task has produced an error, the error details appear in the Commands field.

Note

To view more details for an error, either double-click the error message, or select a line in the Commands field and click the Details button.

To view the progress details for the next computer in the target list, click the Next button. To view the progress details for the previous computer in the target list, click the Previous button.
Click the Close button.
Click OK.
